Friday/Saturday/Sunday - USA or Canada/Amsterdam/Nairobi
Board your Northwest/KLM flight and arrive in Amsterdam the following morning. Continue to Nairobi, where you’re escorted to your luxury hotel. After lunch on Sunday, visit the home of Karen Blixen, author of Out of Africa. Continue to Giraffe Centre, where you can hand-feed the 18-foot tall Rothschild giraffes. Monday - Mountain Lodge
Drive to one of the world-renowned Tree Hotels. Built on stilts, your hotel overlooks a waterhole that attracts diverse wildlife. At night, the area is bathed in floodlights as animals come so close you can hear them breathe. MOUNTAIN LODGE

Tuesday - Mt.Kenya
Take a morning guided nature walk to see elephant, bushbuck and red duiker. Continue to a magnificent resort carved out of Kenya’s tallest mountain. The beautiful Mt. Kenya Safari Club includes tennis courts, a heated pool and a golf course. MT. KENYA SAFARI CLUB

Wednesday/Thursday - Maasai Mara
Fly to the Maasai Mara, so rich with wildlife it requires several game drives a day. Watch for prides of lion, rare cheetah and hippo that wiggle their ears to clear the water. You can take an optional nature walk or glide above the vast plains in a balloon. MARA SERENA LODGE

Friday/Saturday - Amboseli/Mount Kilimanjaro
Fly to Nairobi and enjoy lunch at the historic Norfolk Hotel. Then drive to Amboseli National Park, home to elephant, black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, Maasai giraffe, gazelle and buffalo. The diverse wildlife is set against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Your lodge reflects Maasai architecture and offers views of wildlife from the pool, the terrace, even your bedroom. AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE

Sunday - Lake Manyara National Park
Cross into Tanzania and fly from Arusha to the Great Rift Valley. This geological fault created many lakes, including Manyara. Baobabs, giant fig and mahogany trees create habitats for blue monkeys, buffalo and elephant. Your lodge is perched on the Rift Valley wall. LAKE MANYARA SERENA LODGE

Monday/Tuesday - Ngorongoro
This extinct volcano embraces 100 square miles alive with rhino, lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo. Maasai boys herd cattle into the collapsed crater for its salt supply. As you descend 2,000 feet by Land Rover, clouds fall over the crater rim like a silent waterfall. NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE

Wednesday - Serengeti
A journey into the Serengeti is timeless, with reminders of earth as it was millions of years ago. En route, visit Olduvai Gorge, a small Grand Canyon. It was here that the Leakey family unearthed ancient stone tools and early fossils. Millions of animals live in the Serengeti, and during your stay you may see black-maned lion, buffalo, elephant and vast herds of zebra and wildebeest. SERENGETI SERENA LODGE

Thursday/Friday - Serengeti
The Serengeti feels as if it is yours alone at Kirawira Serena Camp. One of the most luxurious tented camps in Tanzania, Kirawira blends Victorian and African craftsmanship. Saturday - Arusha
After one last game run in the Serengeti this morning, you fly to Arusha. Day rooms have been reserved for you at Mountain Village. Tonight, you’re escorted to the airport for your flight to Amsterdam.

Sunday - Amsterdam/USA or Canada
Arrive in Amsterdam, where you connect
with your return flight.
