Day 1: Depart the USA to begin your amazing journey to the land of the Maasai. You will visit Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, and Tanzania’s most unique biospheres, Lake Manyara!

Lions, Leopard, Giraffes, Wildebeests, elephants and an orange colored sun as the backdrop. Sound like the beginning of Lion King? This is no Disney flick. There is no pausing for a popcorn break, no covering your eyes, it's the real thing!

To start your adventure we will bring you to a place unaware of civilization, where wildlife is supreme, where you are surrounded by more than zebra or wildebeest than you can count and sharing it all with friends, a wonderful guide/driver, and a professionally trained cooking staff. Not only will you capture unforgettable sights of animals, landscape and people, but also you experience Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti through camping in those thrilling places. The Serengeti is the main stage to the annual migration where millions of wildebeest pass through each year, but don't worry; we would not put you in harms ways.

Then after roughing it for the last 6 days simply reward yourself by basking in the sweet island sun of on the and the beaches of Zanzibar.

Day 2: Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport where you are met by our representative. After which you will be transferred to your lodge for the night. Snack....Overnight at Pamoja Lodge

Day 3: Ngorongoro
After an early start to the morning it is back in the car and the journey continues towards one of the worlds naturals wonders. With its 600m high walls, the Ngorongoro Crater supports about 25,000 mammals, making it not only one of the worlds natural wonders but also an excellent venue to spot the Big Five. In this Crater, only as a Maasai are you able to trek through it, so instead you will experience this by jeep. (B/L/D).Overnight at Simba Campsite.

Day 4 & 5: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will leave the Crater begin your journey to the main arena of one of nature’s most remarkable events, the migration. However before the Serengeti there are few exceptional sights to explore en route, such as visiting a Maasai Boma as well as Olduvai Gorge. Commonly referred to as the "Cradle of Mankind" and rightfully so, as it is one of the world’s most important pre-historic sites. Excavation was most notably pioneered by the Leakeys, who not only discovered fossil remains of early hominids but also stone tools and ancient artifacts. All of which have provided great insight into the progression of industrialization among the lives of early hominids. It is certainly an astonishing and impacting experience.

As you continue further into the park, you will notice why the Serengeti’s landscape provides the best arena to witness millions of wildebeest and zebras thumping their hooves across its plains. And as they maintain this ritual cadence, predators such as the intimidating lion prides keenly eye them from the massive Kopje rocks and well sprouted acacia trees. The Serengeti is naturally an amazing experience, but camping takes this to a truly magical level. (B/L/D).Overnight at Serenora Campsite

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
After enjoying two days in Serengeti, you will come face to face with one of Tanzania’s most unique biospheres, Lake Manyara. Located towards the north of the country, Lake Manyara National Park boasts an incredible wealth of habitats, from swamps and a tranquil lake to the mountain escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Spend the day viewing hippos and buffalo share the lake, while some 350 species of birds inhabit the park’s mahogany forest. This is an stunning experience especially with a bike excursion through the area. Make sure you keep an eye out for the park’s trademark- tree climbing lions. (B/L/D). Overnight stay at Jambo Camp

Day 7: Arusha - Culture tour & Tanzanite Site Tour
After a refreshing nights rest, you will get to enjoy the delicious breakfast that awaits you. While done with the bush, your opportunity to explore is not over as we head to the foothills of Mount Meru to learn more about the Wa-Arusha people. With a visit to the Llkidinga village, we will gather great insight into the villages and peoples culture such as traditional healing, commerce, importance behind village activities, and more. We will also get the chance to enjoy a delicious local Tanzanian lunch before engaging in a final tour of a Tanzanite gem site. (Offerred for free a $120 per person value)

Overnight at Pamoja Lodge

Day 8-12: Zanzibar
As you cross the Indian Ocean you will notice Zanzibar, which is only 20-30 miles off the mainland coast, with its white sand beaches and beautiful surrounding waters. Originally inhabited by the Portuguese, Persian, Indians, Arabs, and British- you will experience all of this through the architecture and tales in historical Stone Town While on the island, you will also have the opportunity to visit one of its many spice farms. Although simple from the outset, these acres of land have earned Zanzibar the proclamation of “Spice Island”. As the world leader in Clove production, Zanzibar has and continues to produce and supply spices such as clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and so much more to numerous pantries worldwide. It will be a great eye-opening experience into of the Islands several wonders.

Day 13: Zanzibar-Arusha-and home
